About QPS Employment Group

QPS Employment Group opened its suburban Milwaukee one-room office door in 1985 with the belief that the right job has the power to change lives. Today, QPS has nearly 50 offices in five states, and is one of the Midwest’s largest employment services companies. It helps job seekers, recruiters and employers in filling light industrial, office/clerical, skilled trade and professional positions. Goals

QPS had three main goals to help support its dynamic growth, all of which were related to its social media strategy and online presence:

  1. Increase website traffic
  2. Attract three specific types of online job applicants
  3. Convert online applicants into job candidateslaptopandmobile

Solution(s)

We built a completely redesigned website with intuitive navigation and lead generation tools for job seekers, recruiters and employers in an industry-leading content management system (CMS). Visitors to the site can now search for jobs, share content from the site on social media and interact with QPS directly via chat. Our development work created:

Results

Within four months of launch, QPS saw double-digit gains in four out of five main metrics that track reach and engagement. Increasing website traffic was one of the top goals, and it rose 23 percent overall, with an even more impressive 29 percent lift in mobile traffic. From an engagement standpoint, the new website got users to the pages they wanted to see easily and quickly, which resulted in a 42 percent increase in pageviews and an 18 percent gain in the amount of time spent on the site. Finally, QPS reached its goal of attracting new users, showing a gain of nearly 10 percent.
