FONA International experienced tremendous growth, moving from the local stage to the global stage. The move meant a state-of-the art facility along with corporate re-branding. To go along with this new FONA brand, a more professional website was necessary in order to attract and appeal to an international clientele.

Azavar Technologies Corporation used its previous experience in bringing Webability™ to international businesses to design an award-winning, clean, accessible, user-friendly website. The previous FONA website lacked a consistent design, useful images and intuitive navigation. It did not present the new identity and professional image FONA wanted to convey.

Azavar took all the information provided by FONA and organized it in an intuitive fashion, simplifying the navigation and making it easy for visitors to go right to the information for which they are searching. The interface is smooth and clean. As FONA makes flavors that go into foods rather than the foods themselves, Azavar selected images to demonstrate the benefit of FONA's products, and illustrate people enjoying foods of which flavors developed by FONA play an intricate role.

To go along with building a state-of-the-art facility, FONA wanted to showcase a video about the facility. Azavar integrated the video into the website, with low bandwidth and high bandwidth viewing options. The different bandwidth options mean Internet connectivity issues are mitigated so more visitors and potential customers can take a virtual tour of FONA.

With its previous website, FONA ranked well in search engines for such keywords as “flavor technology” and “FONA,” so it was important that the website redesign have minimal impact on these rankings. Azavar used the basics of good website design, clean coding and implementation, resulting in even higher rankings for “flavor technology,” “sweet flavors” and other related keywords.

The end result is a clean, professional, search engine friendly website that appeals to an international clientele. Its solid design and clean coding make it easier for customers, both current and prospective, to find FONA through search engines, bringing more business to FONA and fostering better relationships.
