The annual International Davey Awards are presented by the International Academy of Arts and honor the "Creative Davids" of the industry: the small companies who get their strength from developing big ideas without big budgets. 

Davey Silver Award Winner

2005 saw another award added to the list of Azavar Creative Design: a Silver Davey Award.

The award was given to Azavar for its MTV2 Urbanworld Interactive Kiosk. Having experienced previous success with Azavar interactive kiosks in the past with MTV's 2001 Campus Invasion Tour, MTV2 came to Azavar looking for something similar, but with more distinct MTV2 branding. MTV2, a sponsor of the Urbanworld Film Festival, wanted to use the opportunity to promote the festival as well as its new identity.

Since it was being showcased at a film festival, MTV2 wanted users to feel as if they were still part of the film festival instead of sitting at a computer. It had to be an interactive application that would highlight the film festival while promoting and distinguishing the MTV2 brand.

The successful of the interactive kiosk was further highlighted by the Davey Awards, who gave it a silver award.
